Of all the
cities of Pakistan, Abbottabad is one of the most convenient, safe
and pleasant, in which to live and study. Small sized by Pakistani
standards, not over populated, it combines the advantages of big
city life with those aspects usually associated with small country
towns. Many feel it is ‘just the right size.’
Abbottabad is spread out in a valley and an
outstanding feature of its layout is the abundance of greenery,
trees, gardens and grassy mountain slopes. The traffic congestion
and pollution associated with larger cities is not a problem in
Abbottabad. Yet this city has many of the attractions that larger
cities usually offer, like shopping malls, cinemas, sporting areas,
restaurants, hotels, jogging paths, markets---- to name just a few
