On any campus, learning and growth
take place both in and outside of the classroom. On a campus like
Modernage, where a large number of student population reside in the
residence houses, the sphere of student development gains a special
significance. Just as the faculty members are highly educated and
dedicated to teaching, there is a special group of people on the
campus who are devoted to each student’s intellectual, social,
physical and spiritual development outside of the classroom.
Students experience a unique kind of caring and concern for all
facets of their growth by the student service staff of Modernage.
The following pages describe many of the services and activities
available to the students of Modernage. All these services are
designed to provide the type of support needed to enhance a
student’s residential life experience. |

Residential Life |
|
|
|
Most students find the experience of
sharing a room, living together with many other people and taking
active part in the boarding houses to be both challenging and fun.
There is no course in boarding house living listed among the
academic descriptions, but the lessons in human nature, the
friendships developed and the memories recalled will last a
lifetime. The House Masters and House Mistresses along with their
capable staff are ready at all times to help the students make the
most of their boarding house experience.
The rooms are serviced daily.
Facilities for personal washing and iron are available on the
premises. |

Student Health Services |
|
|
|
|
|
|
Modernage’s approach to health care
is holistic, exploring emotional, intellectual, spiritual and
physical issues that may affect well being. The students are
encouraged to develop healthy life styles and to assume greater
responsibility of their own health and well being. The institution
has acquired services of a registered physician. The services
provided include general care of illness and injury, physical
examinations, laboratory services, immunizations, nutrition
information, health maintenance and referrals to health care
specialists/hospitals. The medical bills are drawn in the quarterly
fee at the end of the quarter. To avoid unnecessary worry and
botheration to the parents only serious and prolonged illness cases
are brought into their knowledge. Further time and again education
programs to increase health awareness and health maintenance are
